There are a few things that go into our decision to test for a contaminant.
Here's our thought process ~
We've currently tested for over 200 contaminants. There are thousands of contaminants we could test for, and since each contaminant we test for is expensive we consider this cost and the number of people affected by this contaminant when we make that decision.
As contaminants become more prevalent, we take notice and will often do a new round of testing to account for this. Recently in 2020, we conducted new testing on PFOAs. As more information came out about this contaminant and how prevalent it was, we knew it was important to test for.
While we can't promise we will test for a contaminant you are concerned about, feel free to get in touch about it. If enough customers are concerned about a contaminant, we will certainly more strongly consider testing for it.
